POWERED IMPACT TESTED LIFTING ARM BARRIER

OVERVIEW:
This product perhaps not the most elegant Of high security vehicle barriers really comes into its own when retrolifting Across wide entrances, or where there are below ground voids or services, as it has minimal depth foundations - 300 mm only. Rising speed - 6 sec.



 

USE:
Entrances with high security rating and where installing deep foundations is not possible

SIZE:
Pole length suitable for clear opening of up to 6m. Although the pole doesn't open to exact 90º angle the clear opening is 6m. Height above ground to underside of pole 1m Height if fitted with full height folding lattice skirts 1.80m

CONSTRUCTION:
Pole rectangular hollow section steel on heavyweight bearings.Drive pedestal 1.80m high x 1m wide x 1m deep, bolted down to star frame below ground base plate.Drive pedestal contains hydraulic ram and limit switches.Closing post - double square hollow section with base plate to fix to star frame. Closing post removable in case of wide loads.Both pedestals with 45º inward inclined buttress.Tested to PAS68 subsequently CWA 16221 7500/80Kph standard.

DRIVE:
Hydraulic pump and motor and PLC controlled housed in freestanding lockable steel cabinet, located within 15m of barrier area.There is no manual hand pump on this barrier so back up/power supply should be available if mains interruption is a regular occurrence.

POWER SUPPLY:
415/240v 3 Phase Motor size 4 to 5kw depending on pole length and usage Control voltage 24VDC

CONTROL FUNCTIONS:
- Hold to run key switch
- Open-stop-close in gatehouse/remote
- Key switch or push button for reverse operation
- Card reader - swipe/proximity in freestanding port
- Below ground induction loop or auto closing, or vehicle watching

SAFETY OPTIONS
- Safety edge below pole
- Infra red beam, stops pole movement when interrupted

FINISH:
All steel surfaces blasted clean to S3 standards.

INSTALLATION:
The drive and closing pedestals are fixed to underground star frames with studs welded in. The frames are set into concrete foundation normally 1200mm x 1200mm x 300mm deep for both pedestals. Star frames are supplied as part of the barrier assembly.
