ROADBLOCKER SECURITY IMPACT TESTED

OVERVIEW:
We feature three roadblocks in our
product portfolio. This product is the
most used and recommended. It has
some of the best test results of any
blocker that has been tested to the
PAS68 subsequently CWA 16221 which is basis of CEN EU
standards.

USE:

CONSTRUCTION:
These roadblockers comprise 10mm thick top chequer plate with an axle load within test criteria and fitted with heavy duty hinges into prefabricated steel housing for setting into ground. The depth of the housing 1400 mm. The below ground housing contains conduits for cables, hydraulic hose, and for drainage. All in accordance with BS4872. The hydraulic drive unit is contained in a separate freestanding lockable 1.20 high x 900 wide x 600 mm deep steel cabinet.

DRIVE:
The blocking segment raised and lowered by hydraulic operation. The pump valve box and PLC central box housed in the freestanding cabinet. This to be located max 15 m from blocker. Cabinet also includes accumulator if required (See options). Normal operating speed average 6 seconds. There is a hand pump in case of power failure.

POWER SUPPLY:
415 v three phase 50 Hz. (or to suit country requirements) PLC control voltage 110v/AC PLC logic voltage 24V DC Motor size 3 Kw.

CONTROLS:
Latest version PLC controls with in-built safety features and manual release facility to link all access and automated systems, fire alarms, and other devices.

OPTIONAL VISUAL AND ELECTRONIC SAFETY EQUIPMENT:
- Stop/no entry signs fixed to freestanding post or to drive unit cabinet.
- Traffic lights, LED red/green, 100mm diameter in black casing installed above drive cabinet or on freestanding posts
- single or double sided.
- Flashing yellow signal light
- Below ground detection loops vehicle waiting.
- No automatic raising/lowering function visualised with high security blockers
- Additional pump and hydraulic ram heating units for use in extreme cold climates
- Accumulators for fast operation (1.50 seconds) or for a certain number of operations without power.

FINISH
All units hot dipped galvanised to British standard EN ISO 1461 then roadblocker primed and painted black and yellow, drive cabinet powder coated grey. Other RAL colours available.

INSTALLATION No pre-casting of Roadblocker pit required, Roadblocker is set into the excavated pit and adjusted with the inbuilt levelling feet. Ducts for cables, hoses and drains connected and concrete poured and consolidated.
