POWERED SLIDING GATE IN KIT FORM

OVERVIEW:
This gate is included in our portfolio as
it is of a proven design and can be
supplied in a kit form for assembly on
site or in workshop. Available in plain
galvanised finish for coating in
destination country.

USE:
For general, commercial, and industrial use. This is a lightweight gate and not impact rated.

SIZE
Up to 8m clear opening in 4m, 6m and 8m units only.
Height 1.80m or 2m.
Drawback space approximately 4/3 of road width.

CONSTRUCTION:
Lower beam special profile containing support rollers 110mm wide x 120 high.
Side stiles 40m x 40m, top rail 80mm (facing) x 40mm.
Infill 30mm (facing) x 20mm @ 150mm centres.
Gate sections 2m wide for bolting together.
Outer guide post full height 100mm x 100mm.
Inner post contains compact drive unit acting on bottom rail.

DRIVE
Electro-mechanical drive motor 0.75 kw typically for 6m x 2m gate, single phase, 230v 50Hz with built in frost protection. Manual operation possible if power supply interrupted.

CONTROLS
- Push button open-stop-close
- Alternative key switch for gate house operation.
- Additional key switch in drive unit post for local operation
- Card system - swipe/proximity/magnetic in freestanding post for cars, or cars and trucks 2 tier, intercom unit and hand set
- Induction loop - auto close, auto exit

SAFETY OPTIONS
- Rubber safety buffer fitted to gate edge and guide post as standard for powered gates. (for smaller versions a modified safety strip is incorporated)
- Electronic eye beam between guide and closing post.
- Red/green traffic lights on freestanding post

FINISH
Gates hot dipped galvanised. Optionally additional two coats of plastic over the zinc. The finish on the gate is of the highest quality and corrosion protection developed jointly with the auto industry

INSTALLATION
This is a modular type gate and the installation is also quick and easy. Basically just bolt down to level concrete slab.
