CONSTRUCTION:
Lifting segment and main base frame from heavy-duty angle and box section steel with 10mm thick top chequer plate with a 30 tonne axle weight loading.
Sub-frame with support legs to distribute impact load into surrounding foundations.
Heavy duty, high tensile chains to create vehicle impact system.
The hydraulic drive unit contained in separate freestanding, lockable cabinet up to 940mm wide x 620mm deep and 1.30m high.
DRIVE :
The blocking plate raised and lowered by hydraulic operation. The pump, valve box, and PLC central box housed in the freestanding cabinet to be located max 15m from blocker.
Cabinet also includes accumulator if required (See options).
Normal operating speed 6 seconds to raise and lower.
Fast drive if required 1 second.
Hand pump in case of power failure is fitted as standard.

CONTROL SYSTEM:
Latest version PLC controls with in-built safety features and manual release to link all access control systems and fire alarms.
OPTIONAL VISUAL:
- Stop/no entry signs fixed to freestanding post or to drive unit AND ELECTRONIC cabinet.
SAFETY EQUIPMENT:
- Traffic lights, red/green, 100mm diameter in black casing installed above drive cabinet or on freestanding posts – single or double sided.
- Flashing yellow signal light
- Below ground detection loops vehicle waiting.
- No automatic raising/lowering function visualised with high security blockers
- Additional pump and hydraulic ram heating units for use in extreme cold climates
- Folding safety skirt to cover open jaw and side sections of blocker when in raised position.

All units hot dipped galvanised to British standard EN ISO 1461 then roadblocker primed and painted black and yellow, drive cabinet powder coated grey. Other RAL colours available.
INSTALLATION:
Shallow mounted roadblockers require a reinforced foundation to distribute impact load. Depth 300mm, width 3m and length approx 7.40m. These dimensions can vary with site conditions. Drainage to drain or soakaways required.
